Starting Point

 

YOUR TRAUMA, THE KEY TO UNLOCKING YOUR POSSIBILITY

Usually, we start with your trauma – we all have some. Trauma is any experience that has shaken your sense of safety and altered your experience of the world. Trauma is not what happened to you. Trauma is the impact that the “thing that happened” has on your mind and body. The problem is that it is secretly driving your bus and influencing your decisions. You may feel a need to avoid people or places, act differently in certain situations, keep attracting negative energy or you may shut down in situations and not know why. These are all signs that something once happened or happened over an extended period of time to bring about a patterned reaction in your life now. 

Defining your trauma isn't always easy, but that's what we'll uncover together. It can be the small things that become the big things that leave invisible impacts. To help get you started, trauma can include:

  • Lack of a feeling of being seen or heard

  • Car crash, breakup or an abusive situation

  • Limited support, love or attention in your youth

  • A physical injury that changes the way you connect with your body

  • Not having your physical or emotional needs met


1 –

Intake Form

10 - 20 minutes +

First, we start with an intake form to gain awareness. These questions invite you to look inside and may make you a bit uncomfortable. They are supposed to. Your answers give me so much insight about how you view and interpret your world. It’s a lot, I get it, but it’s worth it. When you take the time to fill out the form, I can create massive value on your FREE initial call. The form is a precise and deliberate tool that helps me to uncover your personal code and get right to the root of the issue.

 

2 –

Inital Call

30 minutes

As a follow up to your intake form, we set up a FREE initial phone call designed to see if we feel aligned to work together. The goal is to answer the following questions:

1) Do my skills address your area of interest or concern?

2) Do we have synergy and trust?

3) Are you ready to deal and heal? 

 

 3 –

Your First Session

 

2 hours 

I will book a two-hour window to host you at my office in Calgary, Alberta, or connect with you over video conference if you are an international client. We will work through your most pressing issue – normally it’s one of the top negative emotions (anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt, shame). We will get to the root of whatever you feel needs to be addressed immediately to provide you with some relief. A few common issues I start the journey with my clients are:

  • Indecisiveness

  • Procrastination  

  • Lack of direction, purpose or passion

  • Lack of relationship or unhealthy, repetitive triggers

  • Insistent negative patterns or thought process

All of your negative “stuff” worked for you at some point in your past, so it's not bad or wrong – it's just old code. You created the perfect coping mechanism for an event that is no longer happening. Together, we’ll adjust your code for today's goals, dreams and desires. Just like your phone, we all need an update every now and again.

This may feel a little intimidating, but don't fret – I will take you through four easy steps: 

  • Awareness: acknowledging where you're at and what's going on

  • Expression: an expression or release of a physical or emotional energy

  • Forgiveness: letting go to deal and heal your "stuff"

  • New Behaviour: your time to create and discover your future possibilities

Included:  

  • Personal follow up email after you complete your intake form, outlining next steps

  • Scheduled 30 minute call where we discuss what's going on, address any questions and book your session

  • Private one-on-one 2 hour session.
